N\u00e3o \u00e9 uma regra, mas o motor \u00e9 a parte que mais d\u00e1 trabalho para um rodder na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de seu carro. Isso se o propriet\u00e1rio quiser algo bem potente, fora dos padr\u00f5es das f\u00e1bricas tradicionais. C.W. Looney concorda, o entusiasta demorou um pouco mais de seis anos para finalizar seu Chevrolet Nova 1970. O motor foi a prioridade no projeto.<\/p>\n

O motor escolhido para o Nova foi um big block Chevy V8 Turbo-Fire 350, ele foi equipado com pist\u00f5es modernos de alum\u00ednio, cabe\u00e7ote Dynatech, igni\u00e7\u00e3o MSD e carburador Holley 750. Combinando com a transmiss\u00e3o TH400 e o sistema de escape personalizado com silenciadores Flowmaster Super 44, o bloco distribui \u00e0s rodas 620 cavalos de pot\u00eancia a 5.500 rpm e 89.8 kgfm a 4.500 rpm.<\/p>\n
